Global South in AI: Author Presentations: GenAI In Global South In AI select posters showcase

This final segment of the Global South in AI workshop will showcase a select set of the 24 accepted posters of this year showcasing Generative AI in Global South Languages from around the world. This will be a combination of in-person and pre-recorded/livestreamed authors.

Please join this session if you are interested in understanding the state of Generative AI in Global South Countries from Africa, Latin America and Asia and to understand the use cases, research in low research language datasets and in mitigating bias in Global South Languages when doing machine translation to English.
