Isabel (Izzy) Metzger is the lead AI Scientist for the USAi Trust & Safety Center at the General Services Administration (GSA), where she drives responsible AI implementation across the federal government and promotes AI literacy through training initiatives. With an MSc in Biomedical Informatics from NYU, she previously built and deployed secure, end-to-end machine learning systems in the biotech and healthcare sectors. She was a key contributor to DrugOME, Roivant’s AI platform that sold for $1 billion, and productionalized her NYU thesis to deploy a deep learning mortality prediction model in New York City hospitals. She is committed to advancing trustworthy, human-centered AI.
