Andrea Barenque

Abstract

Andrea Barenque is an expert in data intelligence policy and digital governance. She previously held positions in the public sector in Mexico, including as Deputy Director General of Open Data in the National Digital Strategy of the Presidency. She also worked in the private sector on the Global Public Policy and Philanthropy team at Twitter Inc. (Washington, D.C.) and as a Product Manager at OPI Analytics, leading data-driven technology solutions. She is the Founder and CEO of Datamorfosis, an agency specializing in data and AI solutions that drives data governance models across governments, businesses, and organizations in Latin America.

Andrea Barenque is a specialist in data intelligence policy and digital governance. She has worked at Mexico’s Ministry of Finance, the Government of Puebla, and the National Digital Strategy of the Office of the President, where she served as Deputy Director General for Open Data. Andrea has collaborated with international organizations including CAF and UNESCO, leading projects for the Ministerial Roadmap on Ethical AI and developing governance frameworks for algorithm training processes. She is the Founder and CEO of Datamorfosis, an agency that strengthens data and AI governance in governments, companies, and organizations across Latin America.
