Sim2Mat Lightning Talk - Vijay Narasimhan

Vijay Narasimhan is the Director of Technology Investments and Partnerships at M Ventures, an affiliate of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, one of the world's largest and most respected chemical and materials companies. In this role, Vijay invests in AI for Science, Physical AI, and Foundational AI. He also initiates and drives high impact initiatives in cross-cutting areas between startups and groups within the company from Electronics, Health Care, and Life Science. Vijay has a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa, an MPhil in Nanotechnology Enterprise from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He also holds an MBA jointly awarded by IE University and Brown University.
